Premium Support Data Analyst I-NE

Reports to: VP Global Data Services

FLSA Status: Non Exempt 

Job Summary:

This role works directly with the Data Services, Project Management, and Clients to provide accurate and on-time SLA data. Proper Case Management that is not limited to TMC data feeds, production & NetSuite. Assist in the documentation processes, assist in implementing new clients in an accurate and timely manner. The role is also responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all of Grasp Technologies' master tables supporting software products and platforms

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required:

  • Provides essential Masterfile maintenance*
  • Credit Card Reconciliation
  • Helps Monitor Reports for any file failures
  • Performs extensive research 
  • Completes special projects
  • Document processes
  • Meets regularly with Data Services and Project Management Teams
  • Works directly with Grasp clients*
    • Communicates directly with the Agencies, MasterCard, and Visa regarding missing files and or missing transactions
  • Investigate data issues and inaccuracies
  • Back office, Accounting for TMC Travel Agent Experience preferred
  • SQL Skills Required (Visa and ARC for supporting)
  • A primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting & priority setting with Dev SMEs 
  • Monitor Data Quality and remove corrupt data
  • Reviewing the data activity reports ensuring all TMC data has been received
    • And all subsequent files have been delivered to the Payment Company's as appropriate   
  • Configure GraspIQ filters & test according to Workbook 
  • CRF field mapping & testing 
  • Providing Payment Companies with sample files for validation that downline systems will work with new feed or enhancement 
  • Weekly meeting with Grasp Dev to help set priorities & progress; update the priority list on the Google Share Drive or Teams Documents
  • Identify and raise new opportunities to the Data Services Team 
  • Good time management skills are required to handle diverse time zone coverage

Language Ability:

Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures and processes. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers. 


Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 


Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, project management software, and database software. 



Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; and eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 


Specialized Training:

At least three to five years’ travel technology and industry experience preferably on a global scale 


Knowledge, Skills, and other Abilities:

  • Ability to uncover the client’s needs and tie to Grasp products and services
  • Strong relationship building skills, that include global awareness, both globally and  culturally, can influence and assist them in vital decision making, and builds strong connections with all levels, from the chief executive officer to the front lines 
  • Builds strong relationships internally across all departments, including virtual,  ensuring a cross functional approach to client, and project management
  • Trained in meeting facilitation, and outstanding communication, presentation, and  facilitation skills 
  • Comfortable with public speaking and representing Grasp at industry events

Additional Information:

Pay Range - $22.-$32/hour -$45,000. - $70,000. /year, Commensurate with experience, Full time employment
